Colin is a LA based Costume Designer.

Her work has garnered praise in the NY Times, LA Times, and New Yorker as ‘sharply perceptive’, authentic’ and ‘textured’.

She creates impactful characters and tells story by attuned use of color, detail, and style.

Over the last decade, her feature work has travelled the festival circuit, taking home wins from festivals like Sundance, Tribeca, SXSW, Hafia, and Venice.

Colin is most known for her work with acclaimed Mumblecore director Andrew Bujalski on his last 3 pictures. The two originally teamed in 2011,

when she designed the world of a1981 Computer Chess tournament in COMPUTER CHESS (Kino Lorber).

Recent design credits includes Magnolia Pictures’ colorful breasturaunt comedy SUPPORT THE GIRLS, which appeared on Obama’s list of top films of 2018, and

Nia DaCosta’s Neo-Western LITTLE WOODS (NEON) starring Tessa Thompson and Lily James.

Colin grew up on a ranch in East Texas with a healthy appetite for Hitchcock and British sitcoms.

She has a BFA in Costume Design from CalArts.

She has designed everything from Theater, Opera, Performance Art, Puppetry, Music Videos, and Commercials before finding her home in film in 2009.

Colin is represented by APA Agency. She is a member of the Costume Designers Guild Local 892 and IATSE Local 484.
